Maker’s bio
Lee was born in Devon, and moved to Cornwall at the age of seven. He has worked in Plymouth Docks, and has been painting for more than 20 years, during which time he has also brought up his daughter and son. He has sold paintings in Cornwall and Devon through hospitality outlets and gallery spaces. Lee’s work includes attractive and decorative paintings of local natural scenery – and in particular of Cornwall’s extraordinary coastlines – as well as more complex pieces stylistically inspired by some of the great impressionist, expressionist and abstract artists of the western tradition.
