market makers: promoting liskeard’s rich arts & crafts talent
Liskeard Market Makers, originally established in 2022 with funding from both the European Union and the CIID, aimed to shine the spotlight on the creative talent of our Liskeard community and to support the development of arts and crafts enterprises.
When that funding ended in March 2023, Liskeard Town Council encouraged Market Maker participants to readjust their aims and to take this art group forward. Market Makers is now here to help build a supportive network of creative people in our town, to develop and promote the brilliant arts and crafts talents of our communities, to help to give Liskeard its well-deserved place on the creative map of Cornwall, to encourage visitors to our beautiful, friendly town, and to build our reputation as a destination for lovers of wonderful arts and crafts.
