Maker’s bio
Andy is a graphic artist and illustrator, obsessed with design and creativity. He has been working in the creative design industry for 25 years, and has worked his way from being a junior designer to an experienced creative. He graduated from Falmouth School of Art and Design (now Falmouth University) in 1995 in Graphic Information Design. The length of his professional experience means he has practised using both modern digital design techniques as well the traditional paste-up. He has never sidelined his craft skills and sketching is an important part of his professional process. This, he says, is something he really pushes with less-experienced designers.
He has a strong affinity with Cornwall and a passion to create unique ‘graphic’ art work that promotes Liskeard and is based on visual landscapes. He is looking to extend his creative work from framed prints to a range of homeware in the future. His work is themed around ‘Lyskerrys Tirwedhow’.
